I saw 2 groups created and I think that's a great idea, so I added the dutch group.
Having a group that spans our beloved planet is amazing, but finding people next door and having the ability to talk "in private" to each other could (make it easier to) create new nodes that could grow into new initiatives.
I would like to know what you think and why.
a) One global group no subgroups
b) yes lets make groups for every country / region
c) i don't care, whatever makes you happy
d) none of the above
One of the great things about vlogging and the internet, is we are all neighbors in the end.
I like the idea of having global friends and would like to keep just the one group.

I created the group in Spanish, basically to support those WHO do not speak English, I think that language must not be a barrier to be part of this wonderful world wide group.
I LOVE the idea of people from lots of different parts of the world, speaking different languages, would get involved.
NaVloPoMo was primarily an English speaking affair, and this is already much more diverse - which is what vlogging is all about for me - breaking down artificial boundaries of nationality, language, class, colour, etc through intimacy and creativity.
That was one of the things I was thinking when I thought of Semanal as a name - having a non-English word would help create a non-exclusively-English atmosphere. Seems to have worked.
But I agree that the central group must remain the main focus of the community we're forming here...
However, it won't be where we're posting videos for much longer.
At that point, I think the Ning group will come into its own as a place for exchanging ideas and having fun - the country/language groups will help people talk more easily about some things - including, as Luis and Pepa have said, language support (not exclusivity) - and where people choose to have different types of discussions will all just be common sense.
